Storytelling Festival Nov. 3

posted Aug 31, 2012, 7:56 PM by Interfaith WS

Stories, free food and music.  They are on the menu for the Interfaith Storytelling Festival in Winston-Salem, Saturday, Nov. 3.

Adults will want to be sure to catch the “adults only” session featuring Rabbi Mark Strauss-Cohn, Imam Khalid Griggs and John (the Baptist) Ashburn.

For the children we’ll have storytellers who have appeared at the National Black Theatre Festival and on National Public Radio (NPR).

If you haven’t heard the stories and songs of Ed Kilbourne, you’ve missed a Methodist version of Garrison Keillor.

Let us know you’re coming by pre-registering at  There’s no charge, although we will be accepting donations to help cover the cost of the food.
