In one afternoon – Sunday, April 14 – Winston-Salem area youth in grades 6-12 have an opportunity to visit an Islamic mosque, a Friends Meeting house and a Greek Orthodox church. At each stop they will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn about those faith traditions. The event is sponsored by the Winston-Salem Human Relations Commission and Interfaith Winston-Salem. Worship communities are encouraged to provide vans or other transportation for participating youth. Taking approximately one hour at each stop, the tour starts at 1:45 p.m. at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation at 435 Keating Drive before moving to the Winston-Salem Friends Meeting house at 3151 Reynolda Road and concluding at the Community Mosque at 1419 Waughtown Street.
