Neighbors in the Winston-Salem area will have the opportunity Sunday, April 12 to learn more about three local worship centers, their beliefs and their practices. Leaders at each location will make brief presentations that are followed by a question and answer period.  You can pre-register at this link:

The tour, which is open to youth and adults, begins at 2 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at 4055 Robinhood Road.  On-site registration opens at 1:45 p.m.  The tour moves to Knollwood Baptist Church at 330 Knollwood St. at 3 p.m. and concludes at Temple Emanuel at 201 Oakwood Dr. at 4 p.m.  All guests will be treated to a free pizza at Temple Emanuel.

This is the eighth annual tour, sponsored again by Interfaith Winston-Salem.  At the request of many people, the tour is being expanded this year to encourage adults to participate.  The event is free.

"With the polarization and division between faith communities, the tour provides a great time to learn more about the traditions of our neighbors," says Jerry McLeese, coordinator of the tour.  "We believe that we make our community a better place when we understand and respect our neighbors."
