Interfaith Thanksgiving Service Nov. 20

You’re invited to the annual community Interfaith Thanksgiving service, held this year at Home Moravian Church, 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20. The Interfaith Thanksgiving Service is open to the public. There is no admission charged. Note that the time has been changed from the time of previous services.  It's 30 minutes earlier to make it easier for families with small children to participate.
Winston-Salem worship centers have come together for more than 25 years for this event. The service rotates among 11 worship centers.  This year nine of them will participate in the service, each offering their style of thanksgiving.

The Rev. Lisa Schwartz, new minister of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, will deliver the message. The service will close with a reading of the annual Thanksgiving Proclamation from the President.
The service will also have a community choir.  If you would like to participate in the choir, arrive early for the practice, which begins at 6:15 p.m.
Home Moravian Church is located in the heart of Old Salem at 529 South Church St.

Interfaith Winston-Salem’s Interfaith Contemplatives group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20 at Home Moravian Church prior to the Community Thanksgiving service.
