Temple Emanuel and North Carolina Interfaith Power & Light co-sponsor a series of environmental movie/speaker nights at Temple Emanuel.  The programs begin at 7 p.m. at Temple Emanuel, 201 Oakwood Drive, and are open to the public.

On January 7, Louis Zeller of the Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League will lead a session on “Nuclear Power in the USA,” including a 70-minute film, “Atomic States of America,”  which investigates truths and myths about nuclear power.

On February 7, the series focuses on “Our Next Generation of Farmers.”  The featured film is “GROW.”  Speakers include Dr. John O’Sullivan of N.C. A&T University, Amy-Lynn Albertson of the Davidson County Extension office and representatives of Bethania Bottoms Farm.
