Contemplatives and Journeys Programs

Interfaith Winston-Salem offers two recurring programs, “Interfaith Contemplatives” and “Journeys.” 

The Contemplatives group meets on the third Tuesday of each month from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Shepherd’s Center on Ebert Rd.  The sessions begin with 30 minutes of silence and conclude with a time of learning about each other and each other’s faiths. For more information contact Drea Parker at

“Journeys” meets the first Sunday of each month, 8-9:30 a.m., at the Community Arts Café on West Fourth St. in downtown Winston-Salem.  A faith-friendly breakfast is served ($7.50 plus gratuity).  Speakers from different faith traditions – or no tradition – share stories of their journeys, leaving time for questions and discussion.  Reservations should be made through Michael Lange at
